Twelve year old, Aparna Ayyangar has been studying piano since 2005 and harp since   2007. She is in seventh grade at Southwest Middle School. As a winner of music competitions, she has played at many venues, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City and Field Concert Hall at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. She has played harp with the orchestra for the Matawan community musical production “Titanic” in 2011 and with orchestra at the International Music Festival, Ohio (2010).

 

Arjun and Aparna perform frequently at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Pomona, NJ as a part of the hospital's Creative Arts Healing Program. They are also junior volunteers at the Hospice of the Hills, Rapid City, South Dakota.
